About the role

NovaForge Tech is creating a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need an Android Developer to design and integrate mobile components that surface real‑time insights and allow field users to trigger workflow actions.

Key responsibilities

• Build Android UI screens that consume streaming analytics APIs
• Implement background data sync and caching strategies for offline use
• Collaborate with data engineers to define efficient data models on the device
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability in production
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java proficiency for Android development
• Experience with Jetpack components, Coroutines, and WorkManager
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data handling
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI pipelines

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data‑pipeline concepts and analytics SDKs
• Experience with Dagger/Hilt or other DI frameworks
• Exposure to cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) for mobile back‑ends
