CI/CD Pipeline Engineer – Infrastructure Setup

About the role

NexGen Media is launching a new streaming platform and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design and automate the delivery pipeline. You will work closely with developers and QA to ensure fast, reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to provision resources on AWS
• Document pipeline architecture and best practices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines for microservices
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS services (ECS, EKS, CodePipeline)
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation
• Understanding of DevOps principles and version control

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Background in security scanning tools (Snyk, Trivy)
