About the role

BrightMart Solutions is modernizing its operations data pipeline and needs a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst. You will embed security controls into analytics workflows and protect sensitive data as it moves across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement threat modeling for data ingestion and processing stages.
• Configure and monitor security monitoring tools for real‑time anomaly detection.
• Conduct code reviews of Python ETL scripts to enforce secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate encryption, access controls, and audit logging.
• Produce concise security reports for operations leadership.

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of data pipeline security patterns.
• Hands‑on experience securing Python‑based ETL processes.
• Proficiency with Linux hardening, firewalls, and IAM policies.
• Ability to translate security findings into actionable recommendations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) data services.
• Experience with SIEM integration and automated response.
• Knowledge of GDPR or CCPA compliance for analytics data.
