About the role

We are seeking an experienced Python backend developer to join our team, responsible for building and maintaining our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. This is a remote contract position with flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python and Django
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications
• Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of experience with Python and Django
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles and implementation
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and containerization using Docker
