About the role

Northbay Systems is enhancing its test automation framework to cut regression risk before product launches. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and extend the GraphQL layer that powers our automated test suites.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement GraphQL schemas that expose test data and results.
• Integrate GraphQL endpoints with existing NodeJS test runners.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to map regression scenarios to API queries.
• Write unit and integration tests for all new GraphQL services.
• Document API usage patterns for cross‑functional teams.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency in React for building query explorers.
• Solid NodeJS backend development background.
• Understanding of REST API concepts for hybrid integrations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with test automation tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated API testing.
