About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching the "Nimbus Release Engine" sprint to accelerate release velocity across its SaaS portfolio. As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and platform automation that enable faster, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins for microservice releases.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform to provision multi‑region AWS environments.
• Containerize legacy services with Docker and orchestrate them on Amazon EKS, ensuring zero‑downtime rollouts.
• Develop automated testing stages (unit, integration, security) integrated into the pipeline.
• Establish monitoring and alerting via CloudWatch and Prometheus for pipeline health.
• Document platform standards and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions for the DevOps team.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in AWS architecture and services.
• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong Terraform skills for IaC across multiple accounts.
• Container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.
• Infrastructure automation, scripting (Python/Bash) and security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm charts and Argo CD.
• Familiarity with chaos engineering tools.
