About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microservices Architect to lead the design and implementation of a robust, cloud‑native microservices platform for our data processing pipeline. The project focuses on building scalable, fault‑tolerant services that integrate with existing APIs and support high‑throughput workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end microservices architecture aligned with business goals.
• Develop and enforce standards for service communication, security, and observability.
• Implement containerized services using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Guide the team in adopting best practices for CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into technical specifications.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in microservices design patterns.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong Java development experience, especially with Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures using Kafka.
