About the role

Pinecrest Systems is modernizing its operations data flow. We need a Node.js Developer to design and implement a robust data pipeline that feeds real‑time analytics for our ops teams. The work will focus on extracting, transforming, and loading high‑volume event streams into analytical stores.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable Node.js services for data ingestion
• Develop RESTful endpoints to expose processed metrics
• Integrate with message brokers and cloud storage solutions
• Implement monitoring, logging, and error‑handling for pipeline reliability
• Collaborate with data analysts to refine schema and performance targets

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient JavaScript coding and async patterns
• Design and consumption of REST API services
• Understanding of data streaming concepts and ETL processes

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) data services
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
