About the role

NovaForge Tech is creating a robust data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and optimize backend services that ingest, transform, and expose operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable Node.js micro‑services for data ingestion and processing
• Develop RESTful APIs that deliver clean, queryable analytics to internal dashboards
• Integrate with streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka) and cloud storage solutions
• Implement data validation, error handling, and logging for high reliability
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to refine requirements and delivery timelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express framework
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Design and implementation of REST APIs
• Understanding of data pipelines, streaming concepts, and performance tuning

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for backend services
