About the role

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to build a high‑performance backend for our new e‑commerce platform. The project focuses on creating robust APIs, integrating with third‑party services, and ensuring data integrity across the system.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Integrate MongoDB for scalable data storage and retrieval.
• Optimize server performance and handle load testing.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with MongoDB schema design and aggregation.
• Strong understanding of REST API principles.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug production issues.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
