About the role

CoreData Systems is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for an upcoming app store release. We need a Node.js Developer to bridge the mobile front‑end and server APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and performance. This part‑time role focuses on aligning backend services with mobile requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs that serve mobile clients
• Optimize existing Node.js services for low latency and high concurrency
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define data contracts and error handling
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Document endpoints and deployment procedures for the release cycle

Must-have skills

• Proficiency with NodeJS and Express framework
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and async patterns
• Experience building and securing REST APIs
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI pipelines

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mobile backend patterns (e.g., push notifications, offline sync)
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and containerization
