About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a critical integration project that will connect its billing platform, CRM, and several internal APIs. We need a Python Backend Developer who can design and implement robust services to synchronize data across these systems while ensuring high performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful endpoints to expose billing and CRM data.
• Build middleware that orchestrates calls between internal APIs.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and logging.
• Write automated tests and maintain CI pipelines.
• Collaborate with product owners to refine integration requirements.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience.
• Proficiency with Django and building REST APIs.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
• Understanding of API authentication (OAuth, JWT) and webhook patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment.
• Background in billing or CRM system integrations.
