About the role

Pinecrest Systems is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for a new app store entry. We need a Python Backend Developer to shape the server side, ensure tight integration with mobile clients, and deliver a stable, scalable API.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services using Django
• Optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to align data contracts and error handling
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Set up CI pipelines for automated testing and deployment

Must-have skills

• Strong Python proficiency with Django framework
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL performance tuning
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts

Nice to have

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
• Experience with async programming (asyncio, FastAPI)
• Background in mobile‑backend synchronization patterns
