About the role
Harbor Softworks is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement effort for its operations teams. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated delivery pipelines that move raw data through transformation stages into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows for data ingestion, processing, and reporting services.
- Build reusable Docker images and Helm charts for containerized data jobs.
- Integrate pipelines with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Redshift.
- Implement automated testing, linting, and security scans within the pipeline.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure pipeline reliability and performance.
Must-have skills
- Proven experience designing CI/CD systems for data‑centric applications.
- Strong command of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure.
- Hands‑on expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Solid scripting skills in Bash or Python for pipeline automation.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
