Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer – Mission-Critical DevOps Automation

About the role

We are launching a greenfield SaaS product with a remote‑first team. The CI/CD Pipeline Engineer will design and implement end‑to‑end automation that supports rapid feature delivery and reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a scalable CI/CD workflow on AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to define build standards and release gates
• Document pipeline architecture and provide knowledge transfer to the team

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native applications
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS/EKS, CodePipeline)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm charts and service mesh technologies
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform
• Background in performance testing and canary releases
