About the role

BrightMart Solutions seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen its security operations for a critical three‑month initiative. The project focuses on real‑time threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring across a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and tune SIEM solutions for 24/7 monitoring.
• Develop and automate incident response playbooks.
• Conduct log analysis, threat hunting, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Generate daily and executive‑level security reports.
• Provide on‑call support for high‑severity alerts.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python for automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux security hardening.
• Understanding of AWS security services and cloud monitoring.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms.
