About the role

NexGen Media is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune container orchestration that scales under load while keeping latency low.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Kubernetes clusters for micro‑service workloads
• Containerize existing services with Docker, optimizing images for speed
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that automate testing and rollout
• Monitor cluster health, set up alerts, and conduct root‑cause analysis
• Collaborate with developers to refactor code for cloud‑native patterns

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong DevOps mindset and automation expertise
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for operational tasks
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm or Kustomize
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies
