About the role

Silverline Labs is preparing a high‑impact mobile app store release that requires tight alignment between front‑end mobile clients and backend services. We need a Microservices Architect to design, implement, and guide the evolution of a resilient, cloud‑native backend that scales with user demand and supports rapid feature rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Define a microservices strategy that harmonizes API contracts with mobile app requirements
• Design containerized services using Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for service reliability
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to ensure data models and latency targets are met
• Document architecture decisions, service interfaces, and operational runbooks

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in microservices design patterns and API versioning
• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java‑based service development
• Experience building scalable backend systems for mobile applications
• Strong grasp of cloud platforms, security, and observability tools

Nice to have

• Familiarity with serverless functions and event‑driven architectures
• Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC for efficient mobile communication
• Previous work on app store launch pipelines
