About the role

LumenWorks is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. As a Senior MLOps Engineer you will lead the fortification of CI/CD pipelines, model serving layers, and data‑flow orchestration while ensuring compliance with industry‑standard hardening guidelines. Your work will directly protect the newly‑named "AegisGuard" module that powers real‑time inference across multi‑region AWS deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and remediate existing Terraform IaC for least‑privilege IAM roles and network policies.
• Implement automated vulnerability scanning for Docker images using Trivy and integrate results into GitHub Actions.
• Re‑architect Kubernetes manifests to enforce PodSecurityPolicies and enable runtime security with Falco.
• Design a secret‑management workflow leveraging AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault for model credentials.
• Establish a zero‑trust monitoring stack with Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS GuardDuty alerts.
• Deliver a hardened deployment guide and conduct a knowledge‑transfer session by project week 6.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in Python scripting for automation and CI/CD tooling.
• Deep experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proven track record securing AWS environments (IAM, VPC, KMS).
• Strong DevOps mindset with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and monitoring solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Snyk or similar code‑level security scanners.
• Experience implementing AI‑specific security standards such as NIST 800‑53.
