About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a new app store and needs a MongoDB Specialist to align mobile and backend data layers. This freelance gig focuses on designing schemas that support seamless sync between the mobile client and server APIs for the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB data models optimized for mobile access patterns
• Integrate MongoDB with existing Node.js backend services
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to ensure data consistency and performance
• Set up indexing, sharding, and replication strategies for high availability
• Document data contracts and migration steps

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB schema design and aggregation pipelines
• Proficiency in Node.js and RESTful API development
• Understanding of mobile data sync challenges
• Strong debugging and performance tuning abilities

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlas or other managed MongoDB services
• Familiarity with React Native data handling
