About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and streamline platform releases. We need a PHP Developer who can embed automation into our existing Laravel stack, ensuring faster, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for Laravel applications
• Refactor deployment scripts to integrate automated testing and database migrations
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize services with Docker and orchestrate releases
• Maintain and optimize MySQL schemas for zero‑downtime migrations
• Document automation processes and provide knowledge transfer to the team

Must-have skills

• Proficient in PHP and Laravel framework
• Strong experience with MySQL database design and optimization
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines for PHP projects

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest)
