About the role

We are seeking a senior Platform Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a scalable, resilient platform for our flagship SaaS product. The role focuses on automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability across multiple cloud regions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Containerize microservices and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to enforce security and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and drive continuous improvement.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong background in Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks.
