About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a critical test‑automation uplift to cut regression risk before product release. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can design, tune, and automate database workflows that support rapid test cycles and reliable data snapshots.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement automated backup and restore pipelines for test environments
• Optimize query performance for large‑scale regression test datasets
• Integrate PostgreSQL with CI/CD tools to trigger data provisioning on each build
• Develop monitoring alerts for replication lag and storage thresholds
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define data validation scripts

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL clusters in cloud environments
• Strong SQL scripting and performance tuning expertise
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins
• Proficiency in Linux system administration

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑database testing setups
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Background in test‑automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
