About the role

BrightMart Solutions is seeking a senior Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement robust, automated cloud environments for a high‑traffic e‑commerce platform. The contractor will lead the creation of reusable Terraform modules, enforce best practices, and ensure seamless integration with existing CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop Terraform code for multi‑region AWS deployments.
• Implement state management strategies using remote backends and workspaces.
• Integrate Terraform workflows with GitHub Actions and Jenkins pipelines.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams to embed compliance controls.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on IaC standards.
• Perform performance tuning and cost‑optimization of cloud resources.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on Terraform experience.
• Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Strong background in CI/CD automation and GitOps practices.
• Proficiency with Docker containers and container registries.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm chart management.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or CloudWatch.
