About the role

Cascade Apps is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to redesign key interfaces, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure a smooth, fast user experience across browsers and devices.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Vue.js codebase and pinpoint performance issues
• Refactor components using Vue 3, Composition API, and TypeScript
• Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts for optimal data flow
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Document architectural decisions and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• 3+ years building Vue.js applications in production
• Strong grasp of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience optimizing front‑end performance (Lighthouse, Web Vitals)
• Proficiency with Vuex/Pinia state management
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

Nice to have

• Background in server‑side rendering (Nuxt.js)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with GraphQL or REST API integration
