About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead the UI overhaul, ensuring fast load times, smooth interactions, and robust error handling across all client‑side features.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing Vue components for optimal rendering and bundle size
• Implement lazy‑loading, code‑splitting, and caching strategies
• Integrate performance monitoring tools and act on findings
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts and error flows
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests to guarantee reliability

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of frontend development, primarily Vue.js
• Strong grasp of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with performance profiling (Lighthouse, Web Vitals)
• Proficiency in state management (Vuex or Pinia) and component libraries
• Solid testing background (Jest, Cypress)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend assets
• Knowledge of server‑side rendering (Nuxt.js)
• Experience optimizing large‑scale SPAs for mobile networks
