About the role

Orbit Labs is preparing a major product launch and needs a Terraform Engineer to uplift test automation. The focus is on building reusable infrastructure code that reduces regression risk and speeds up validation cycles before release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Terraform modules for test environments across AWS.
• Integrate infrastructure provisioning with CI/CD pipelines to trigger automated test suites.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test environment requirements.
• Document module usage, versioning strategy, and rollback procedures.
• Monitor and optimize cost and performance of test stacks.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience writing production‑grade Terraform code.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Understanding of test automation frameworks and how to provision environments on demand.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terratest or similar infrastructure testing tools.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS) for test workloads.
• Background in security hardening of test environments.
