About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a TypeScript Developer to design, implement, and validate secure client‑side code that integrates with existing services while maintaining performance.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing TypeScript codebases for security vulnerabilities.
• Refactor modules using Angular and React to enforce strict type safety and CSP compliance.
• Implement authentication flows, token handling, and input sanitization.
• Write unit and integration tests targeting OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure secure CI/CD pipelines.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of TypeScript development.
• Deep experience with Angular and React ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of web security best practices.
• Proficiency in writing automated tests (Jest, Cypress).

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with security scanning tools (Snyk, SonarQube).
• Knowledge of CI/CD security hardening.
