About the role

Northbay Systems is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a focused TypeScript Developer to redesign key modules, improve latency, and ensure robust error handling across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing TypeScript codebases for speed and stability
• Implement performance benchmarks and monitoring hooks
• Collaborate with QA to design fault‑tolerant patterns
• Write unit and integration tests covering critical paths
• Document architectural decisions and runtime metrics

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands‑on experience with Angular and React frameworks
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and performance profiling
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Node.js backend services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
