About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a TypeScript Developer who can reinforce code defenses, audit libraries, and embed security patterns while keeping feature velocity high.

Key responsibilities

• Review and refactor existing TypeScript codebases to eliminate unsafe patterns
• Integrate static analysis and linting rules focused on security
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce secure CI/CD pipelines
• Write unit and integration tests that cover threat scenarios
• Document hardened components and share best‑practice guides with the team

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands‑on experience with Angular or React frameworks
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with automated security testing tools
