About the role

DataPro Services is expanding its data infrastructure for a high‑traffic analytics platform. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to ensure database performance, reliability, and security while supporting ongoing feature development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL clusters and replication
• Monitor performance metrics and tune queries for optimal speed
• Develop backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Collaborate with developers to optimize schema and indexing
• Implement security best practices, including role‑based access and encryption

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL in production
• Strong SQL query optimization and troubleshooting
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., pgAdmin, Prometheus)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL ecosystems
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
