About the role

Ridgeline Software is enhancing its mobile release pipeline with a focused test automation uplift. We need an Android Developer who can design, implement, and integrate automated UI and unit tests to lower regression risk before each launch.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Espresso and UI Automator test suites for core app features
• Integrate tests into CI pipelines and ensure reliable flaky‑test handling
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to define test coverage priorities
• Refactor legacy test code and introduce best‑practice patterns
• Document test strategies and create quick‑start guides for developers

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java development experience on Android
• Proven track record with Android UI test frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented test code

Nice to have

• Experience with Robolectric or Firebase Test Lab
• Knowledge of Gradle scripting for test automation
• Background in performance testing of Android apps
