About the role

DataPro Services is building a unified billing‑CRM bridge called SyncPulse. As an Android Developer you will extend the existing mobile client to consume the new integration layer, ensuring seamless data flow between billing, CRM, and internal APIs. This short‑term project focuses on reliable synchronization and real‑time updates for field sales users.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Retrofit services to connect the Android app with the SyncPulse API gateway.
• Design and code Kotlin Coroutines for background data sync while preserving battery life.
• Integrate Jetpack Compose UI components to display billing and CRM records in a unified view.
• Write unit and instrumentation tests using JUnit5 and Espresso for each new endpoint.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and handle versioning.
• Document integration flow in Confluence and maintain changelog for each sprint milestone.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Android SDK, Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with RESTful API consumption (Retrofit, OkHttp).
• Familiarity with Jetpack libraries, especially Compose and Room.
• Knowledge of asynchronous patterns using Coroutines or RxJava.
• Ability to write automated tests and debug network issues.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection.
