About the role

Summit Digital is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to lead a test automation uplift that reduces regression risk before product launches. You will design and integrate automated test pipelines within our AWS environment, ensuring stability and fast feedback for developers.

Key responsibilities

• Build CI/CD workflows that trigger automated regression suites on every code change.
• Containerize test frameworks with Docker and orchestrate them on ECS or EKS.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for test infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor test outcomes, generate actionable reports, and refine flaky test detection.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to align automation scope with release schedules.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration.
• Solid DevOps background, including CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Linux system administration and scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with test frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with performance testing and load simulation tools.
