About the role

CoreData Systems is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight mobile‑backend alignment. We need a Database Administrator to design, tune, and secure the data layer that powers the new mobile experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable schemas for PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL supporting high‑volume mobile traffic.
• Optimize queries, indexes and replication to meet sub‑second response targets.
• Set up automated backups, monitoring and alerting for data integrity.
• Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers to define data contracts and migration paths.
• Conduct performance testing and capacity planning for the upcoming release.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL in production.
• Strong SQL tuning and NoSQL data modeling expertise.
• Experience with cloud‑based database services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot replication, sharding and failover issues.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile analytics data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Experience with security compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
