Key Responsibilities
- Format and edit documents, reports, and publications to ensure consistency and quality.
- Coordinate with authors, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all documents meet the required standards.
- Develop and maintain style guides and formatting templates to ensure consistency across all documents.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and well-structured documents.
- Use software such as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Excel to format and edit documents.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure that all documents are error-free and meet the required standards.
- Provide training and support to other team members on document formatting and editing best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in document formatting and editing.
- Participate in project planning and management to ensure that all documents are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Use data entry skills to accurately and efficiently enter information into our database.
- Use customer service skills to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in document formatting and editing.
- Proficiency in software such as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification in document formatting or editing is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
