Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy customized Shopify themes and templates that meet clients' requirements and exceed their expectations.
• Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly online stores that drive sales and customer engagement.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely project delivery, identify potential roadblocks, and develop solutions to overcome them.
• Develop and implement custom Shopify apps, extensions, and integrations to enhance the functionality of our clients' online stores.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure that all developed solutions meet our high standards of quality and performance.
• Provide technical support and maintenance services to our clients, ensuring that their online stores remain secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify developments, features, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our ecommerce solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all developed solutions adhere to our coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with our QA team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring that all developed solutions meet our quality and performance standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that all developed solutions are well-documented and easily maintainable.
• Provide training and support to our clients, enabling them to effectively manage and maintain their online stores.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, with experience in developing custom Shopify themes and templates.
• Experience with NodeJS, Shopify API, and Shopify SDK, with a strong understanding of ecommerce development principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working with cross-functional teams, including design, project management, and QA.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' requirements and exceed their expectations.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, including security, performance optimization, and user experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
