About the role

Harbor Softworks is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need an iOS App Developer who can dive into existing code, profile bottlenecks, and implement robust solutions that keep the app fast and stable for users.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current iOS app performance using Instruments and profiling tools
• Refactor networking layers and data handling for lower latency
• Implement background processing and efficient caching strategies
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability across iOS versions
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to prioritize fixes

Must-have skills

• Strong Swift proficiency and deep understanding of iOS frameworks
• Experience optimizing REST API integration and handling network errors
• Proven track record improving app performance and stability

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift for reactive patterns
• Knowledge of App Store review guidelines and release processes
