About the role

NexGen Media is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need an iOS App Developer to redesign core modules, reduce latency, and ensure crash‑free experiences across all supported devices.

Key responsibilities

• Profile and benchmark existing iOS code, identify bottlenecks
• Refactor networking layers to use efficient REST API patterns
• Implement robust error handling and offline caching strategies
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee reliability improvements
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to validate performance targets

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of Swift development for iOS
• Deep understanding of REST API integration and performance tuning
• Experience with Instruments, Xcode profiling, and crash analytics
• Proven ability to deliver clean, maintainable code in a part‑time setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for iOS
• Experience with SwiftUI migration projects
