About the role

Ridgeline Software is building a unified billing sync module to bridge its billing platform, CRM, and internal services. As a Java Developer you will craft the core integration layer that ensures data consistency and real‑time flow across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the BillingSync microservice using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful endpoints to expose CRM and billing data, adhering to OpenAPI specs.
• Write SQL scripts and optimize MySQL queries for high‑volume transaction loads.
• Set up CI pipelines in GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to deliver JSON payloads consumed by the React dashboard.
• Document integration workflows and create post‑mortem reports for each sprint milestone.

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (Java 11+).
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.
• Hands‑on MySQL schema design and query optimization.
• Building and consuming REST APIs with JSON.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of Kafka or other event streaming platforms.
