About the role

TechFlow Inc is preparing a major app store release that requires tight alignment between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We seek a part‑time Node.js Developer to shape the API layer, ensure data consistency, and support rapid feature iteration for the upcoming launch.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define payloads and error handling.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability under load.
• Optimize performance and monitor endpoints during pre‑release testing.
• Document endpoints and update OpenAPI specifications.

Must-have skills

• Strong Node.js development experience.
• Proficiency with Express framework.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST APIs.

Nice to have

• TypeScript knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud functions (e.g., AWS Lambda).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
