Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics, using a variety of online sources and databases to gather relevant data and information.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to design and implement research projects, including surveys, focus groups, and online polls.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets, identifying key trends and patterns that inform business strategies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, including written summaries, data visualizations, and recommendations for clients.
- Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to track and analyze research data.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share ideas, discuss challenges, and develop creative solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market research methodologies, tools, and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve research processes and outcomes.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, formatting, and proofreading of research reports and other documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to provide research insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external research partners, including vendors, contractors, and academic institutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development, including workshops, conferences, and online courses, to enhance research skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals, including designing research methodologies, estimating project timelines, and establishing budgets.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of research data, reports, and other documents, adhering to company standards and protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as market research, marketing, psychology, or statistics.
- At least 2 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in a range of research tools and technologies, including survey software, data analysis platforms, and online databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, and the ability to create engaging and informative reports.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately and efficiently manage large datasets and research projects.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on building relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, and the ability to apply this knowledge to inform research design and implementation.
- Certification in market research, such as the Certified Market Research Professional (CMRP) designation, is an asset.
