About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a sprint to embed CI/CD and platform automation into its data services. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automated pipelines that accelerate release cycles while keeping data integrity intact.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for PostgreSQL schema migrations and version control.
• Automate backup, restore, and failover processes using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement tuning adjustments in an automated fashion.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to integrate database steps into overall deployment pipelines.
• Document procedures and create runbooks for rapid incident response.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience administering PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• Exposure to MongoDB or MySQL for cross‑database coordination.
• Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible for provisioning.
• Experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
