About the role

TechFlow Inc is modernizing its legacy production platform, aiming for zero‑downtime releases. As a QA Automation Engineer you will drive test automation for the new PulseSync Engine, ensuring seamless migration and continuous delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Selenium‑based test suites for the PulseSync Engine using JavaScript and WebDriverIO.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline on GitLab, guaranteeing fail‑fast feedback.
• Collaborate with DevOps to set up Docker containers for test environments that mirror production.
• Develop API validation scripts with Postman/Newman to verify data integrity during migration.
• Monitor test flakiness and implement stable selectors and retry logic to meet zero‑downtime SLAs.
• Produce detailed test reports in Allure and present findings in weekly sprint reviews.

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of test automation experience with Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js for scripting automated tests.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for scalable test execution.
