About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to reinforce our delivery pipelines, embed security checks, and ensure compliance across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure CI/CD workflows in AWS using CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Integrate static code analysis, container scanning, and secret detection into the pipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation while enforcing least‑privilege policies.
• Collaborate with security and development teams to remediate findings and improve build hygiene.
• Document pipeline architecture, security controls, and hand‑over procedures.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Experience embedding security tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning) into automated workflows.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for custom integrations.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with GitOps patterns and Helm chart management.
