About the role
Northbay Systems is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automated delivery pipelines that support rapid, safe releases across multiple environments.
Key responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows for microservice deployments
- Integrate automated testing, security scans, and performance benchmarks
- Optimize pipeline speed and resource usage on AWS
- Collaborate with developers to embed observability and rollback mechanisms
- Document standards and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team
Must-have skills
- Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
- Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar)
- Understanding of performance testing and reliability engineering
Nice to have
- Experience with GitOps or Terraform
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
- Background in serverless architectures
