Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer Needed for Production Container Platform Build

About the role

Summit Digital is modernizing a legacy production platform and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design a zero‑downtime deployment framework. You will work closely with architects and developers to replace brittle scripts with automated, resilient pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines on AWS
• Migrate existing build processes to Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure blue‑green and canary releases achieve zero‑downtime goals
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines
• Document pipeline standards and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building CI/CD solutions for production workloads
• Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Shell, Python, or Groovy)
• Experience implementing zero‑downtime deployment patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Background in legacy system refactoring
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
