About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a critical product and needs a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to boost test automation. The focus is on reducing regression risk before each release by integrating containerized test suites into the CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Docker‑based test environments for automated regression suites
• Orchestrate Kubernetes clusters to run parallel test jobs at scale
• Integrate test automation with existing CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Develop reusable Helm charts and CI scripts for test deployment
• Monitor test execution, capture metrics, and report stability trends

Must-have skills

• 5+ years in container orchestration and DevOps
• Deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Proven experience building test automation frameworks
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Helm and Kustomize
• Experience with performance testing tools (Locust, JMeter)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
