About the role

Pinecrest Systems is boosting its test automation suite to cut regression risk before a major product launch. We need a GraphQL API Developer who can design and extend our GraphQL layer, ensuring seamless integration with existing test frameworks and CI pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new GraphQL queries and mutations for test data orchestration
• Integrate GraphQL endpoints with existing React‑based test dashboards
• Collaborate with QA engineers to embed automated checks into the API
• Optimize resolver performance and add comprehensive logging
• Document schema changes and usage guidelines for the broader team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building production‑grade GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency in NodeJS server development
• Hands‑on with React for consuming GraphQL services
• Understanding of REST API concepts and migration patterns
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD integration for API testing
• Knowledge of TypeScript and schema‑first development
• Background in performance testing and monitoring
