About the role

NexGen Media is launching a new consumer‑focused app that will showcase immersive video content. We need a senior iOS App Developer to lead the implementation of core features, ensure high performance, and deliver a polished user experience within a tight timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop native iOS modules using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle data synchronization securely.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and unit tests.
• Optimize app performance and memory usage for smooth playback.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into functional screens.
• Provide code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Deep expertise in Swift, Xcode, and iOS SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of REST API integration and JSON handling.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience delivering apps to the App Store with high ratings.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SwiftUI animations and Combine framework.
• Background in video streaming or media playback technologies.
